Lago Verde Wilderness Resort is located in the Patagonia Argentina. It was created by Alfredo Zubiri, a Patagonian wild lands and fly fishing lover, and developed under a concession given by the Argentina's National Park Agency. Lago Verde Wilderness Resort was planned in order to share this unique place with other nature lovers. El Aura established a strong environmental policy, with the objective of harmonizing its project with the conservation goals of Los Alerces National Park.

The bungalows and restaurants allow the visitor to fully become part of the surrounding nature offering magnificent views of the forest. The clear waters surrounding Lago Verde Wilderness Resort are the anglers' and nature lovers' paradise. The resort is at the center of Los Alerces National Park's fishing area. In a strictly protected place, you will spend your fishing days counting on birds and trees as silent companions. Most of the rivers and lakes are for catch and release, fly fishing only; waters hold rainbow trouts, brown trouts, brooks and landlocked salmon. Experienced bilingual guides will provide their knowledge and ensure fruitful tours.

Encloses an area of 263.000 hectares located in Chubut, a province in the Andean region. It was created in 1937 to protect the last redoubt where one of the oldest trees on Earth, the alerce or lahuan, can still be found. The park protects various threatened species, like the Huemul.
